Neville Todd
Managing Director
Neville is the Managing Director of Woodward Partners Securities Limited. He’s been involved in institutional broking since 1987 and was previously Managing Director of Salomon Smith Barney (New Zealand), which merged with Citibank. He was the Founding Director of Milford Asset Management and is a former Member of the Securities Commission of New Zealand and the New Zealand Stock Exchange. Neville is an accredited NZX Advisor and has a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago University.
Simon Wilson
Director, Equity Sales and Equity Capital Markets
Simon joined Woodward Partners in February 2017 from Edison Investment Research. He joined the team with more than 12 years of equity fund management experience, including managing Japanese equities for Edinburgh Fund Managers in the UK and New Zealand equities for Salvus Asset Management in New Zealand. He is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA UK through holding the ASIP designation. Simon holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh Business School.
John Kidd
Director, Sector & Equity Research
John joined Woodward Partners in March 2014, bringing more than 15 years of analytical, consulting and equity research experience to the team. He has specialist knowledge and experience in the energy and resources sectors. His experience includes four years at Shell’s global head office in London where he worked on the development of new exploration and production, gas and petrochemical business ventures across the Shell Group.
Guy Hallwright
Director, Equity Research
Guy joined Woodward Partners in April 2016 with more than 25 years of equity research experience across a wide range of companies and industries in both New Zealand and Australia. His previous positions include Director of Research for Forsyth Barr, telecommunications research head for Credit Suisse Australia and Head of Research for First NZ Capital. Guy is a Fellow of the Institute of Finance Professionals and past Chairman of the NZ Society of Investment Analysts. He holds an MBA Finance with Distinction from Cass Business School, London.
Ian Graham
Senior Equity Analyst
Ian joined Woodward Partners in March 2017 with nearly 20 years of experience in the New Zealand equities markets working across a range of sectors and companies. Ian’s past roles include as an independent equity capital markets consultant, senior equity analyst with the Accident Compensation Corporation (New Zealand’s largest fund manager with $30 billion under management) and equity analyst roles with Citi Global Markets and Forsyth Barr.
Wayne Yau
Equity Operator, Sales Trader
Wayne joined Woodward Partners in 2016 after working as an Institutional Operator at First New Zealand Capital and a Fixed Interest Dealer at ASB Securities. Wayne is an Authorised Financial Advisor (AFA) and an NZX Advisor. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of Auckland.
Syd Holm
Consultant, Equity Capital Markets
Syd has been in the corporate advice and investment banking sector for more than thirty years, the last twenty of which he has spent managing his own business, Holm Corporate Advice Limited. He has managed more than twenty NZX IPOs and advised numerous listed companies on mergers and acquisitions activity, as well as providing advice on capital raising strategies. His focus in recent years has been on capital raisings and sell-downs for private equity clients.
